Williamston Discovery and Explorer Elementary Schools show great pride in their students artwork and believe that the Arts plays a vital role in student growth and development. To encourage students to participate in the arts, educational activies are made fun and offer a wide variety of educational opportunities for students to grow at different levels.

This year, Art Now!, generously funded by the Williamston Schools Foundation, features the talents of Liz Wylegala as artist-in-residence. Liz brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to our students as she guides the visual arts learning for two ten week residencies.

Our students worked hard on the projects presented in the galleries on the left and are very excited to be sharing them with you.

The Williamston Elementary Schools offer many opportunities for students to explore the arts. There are several ways in which students participate in events, some are in their regular classrooms, some are in their art classrooms and others are participated with the entire school.
